Wellbeing

If you or a colleague are finding things overwhelming or are experiencing any difficulties in your personal or professional life, help and support is available. The key message is to talk to someone about it and remember that you are not alone.

The Postgraduate Medical Council of Western Australia (PMCWA) and the PMCWA Junior Medical Officer (JMO) Forum have developed a JMO Survival Guide and a JMO Wellbeing guide. These documents provide information, strategies and resources which may be useful to you.

As well as these resources, each site has a Postgraduate Medical Education team who you can approach if you are having difficulties coping in your medical career.
